You make our dreams true – we want to make your dreams true, too!

This is a little gift to the ones who support us, and make real our dream of connecting to creatives of the world through hand made design.
Most of our Clients are eclectic, multi-talented people: musicians, producers, visual artists and much more. We look after their everyday well being with supports to improve comfort of the body, and today, we want to share with them a simple toolkit, for the well-being of the creative mind. You can download the PDF files, and try out this simple method to focus on real needs and dreams, pick out one, and build the path towards its realization by answering ten questions.

Organized Dreams

Creativity was once said to be one of three things that cannot be faked: another one is competence. A good method can take years of practice to find, that is why consulting an expert usually saves lots of time. We asked the process specialist Cristina Morero (Finland) to share some of her favorite organizing tools, which are inspired by a lifetime spent optimizing processes in the corporate world, combined with methods from neuro linguistic programming (NLP).

Cristina and ElisaCristina took a flight to Italy, prepared a toolkit for us, and we tried it out one fine August afternoon at our home by the sea, in Sicily. We reached out for our friends on the island who might be willing to commit to this exercise, and the result was electrifying. After a couple of hours spent going through the questions together, each one lost in their own personal creative maze, everyone was charged with a sense of possibility and a clearer vision of what they were going to do next. It takes so little, when you really focus on things you usually can’t take the time to in the everyday routine. Small groups of people were talking about new ideas, and making plans together, and I was amazed and thankful to see all these different dreams weaving together into entirely new projects.

Dreams, needs, and achievable goals

creative-mind-tools_img8055You can do this exercise alone or with friends, as long as you are completely sincere to yourself.
It is divided in two parts. First, as the line between wants and needs is often blurred, you will find a pie-chart to be colored in, which will help you assess your current objectives and level of satisfaction in different areas of life.

Then you can look back at it, and write down things you could do to improve those areas where you didn’t find yourself happy. This proved to me, and to the people in our meet up, a really effective tool to reflect on real dreams and needs. Now, of all these dreams on paper, you can pick out one, and go through the 10 questions method. Besides answering the list on the printable document (Tools for the Creative Mind – 10 Questions Method), you can get examples, some background and clarifications on the presentation document (From Goal Setting to Goal Achieving).

creative-mind-tools_img8065Those simple questions will help you find out if that is a dream you really want to turn into an achievable goal, and what kind of impact it will have on your life. It will also help you to lay the first steps towards action, beginning from today.

Sometimes even the best multi-taskers can use some organizational help. We surely do. We would like to thank our friend Cristina, who reads all the books and experiments with all the methods, for sharing this one with us. Cristina laid this exercise out in a simple and beautiful way – hope you enjoy it and find it useful, and get more of those crazy ideas out there!

Get in touch

We had fun. It was a super informal meeting and a party and people could get a break to go for a dip at the beach. We would love to do more of this in the future. Please do get in touch if you have any ideas about a workshop or event, and maybe meet you in Sicily in the near future. Weather is usually great from May till October.
